Pay matrix of Rs. 19900-63200/- + allowances.

Eligibility Details: As on 31.03.2023

Car driver age limit:

UR & EWS:18-27

OBC: 18-30

SC/ST: 18-32

Government servants: upto 40 years

Ex Serviceman: Age relaxation 3 years

Tamil Nadu Post Office Car driver Education qualification:

1. 10th standard pass
2. Valid driving licence for light & heavy motor vehicles
3. Knowledge of motor mechanism
4. experience of driving light & heavy motor vehicle for at least 3 years.
5. Desirable qualification: 3 years service as Home guard or civil volunteers.

Car driver Selection Process:

1. Written Exam( 80 marks)
2. Practical Test( 20 marks)
