Staff selection commission invited the online application through the eligible candidates for the post of Constable ( GD) in Central armed police forces( CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman( GD)  in Assam Rifles and sepoy in Narcotics control Bureau Examination 2022

Salary:

Pay level -1( Rs. 18,000 to 56,900) for the post of sepoy in NCB and pay level -3( Rs. 21,700 to 69,100) for all others posts. 

Education qualification: as on 01.01.2023

Matriculation pass/ 10th pass/ SSLC

Age Limit: as on 01.01.2023

Age limit:18-23
Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.01.2000 and later than 01.01.2005 

Note: 

Covid pandemic one time age relaxation available all communities ( All candidates) 3 years in upper age limit
So Age limit : 18-26( the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02.01.1997) 

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 Years
Ex- Servicemen: 3 years

Selection process:

The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination (DME/ RME) and Document Verification. 
1.Candidates scoring following cut-off marks (without adding bonus marks to NCC certificate holders) will be considered eligible for short-listing to the next stage i.e. PET/ PST:
UR    : 30% 
OBC/EWS  : 25% 
All other categories : 20% 
2.NCC Certificate holders will be granted following incentive marks provisionally which will be added to the normalized scores of the candidates: 
3.NCC ‘C’ Certificate : 5% of total marks 
4.NCC ‘B’ Certificate : 3% of total marks 
5. NCC ‘A’ Certificate :2℅ of total marks
6.Male and female candidates will be shortlisted State/ Area-wise and category-wise on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based Examination (including NCC bonus marks, if applicable) for appearing in the PET/ PST. The number of candidates shortlisted for PET/ PST on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based examination will be about 8 (Eight) times of the number of vacancies. More number of candidates can be shortlisted against the vacancies of SSF.
7.The candidates who are successful in the PET/ PST will be considered eligible for short-listing to the next stage i.e. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV). 
8.Male and female candidates who qualify in the PET/ PST will be shortlisted State/ Area-wise and category-wise on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based Examination (including NCC bonus marks, if applicable) for appearing in the DME/ DV. The number of candidates shortlisted for the DME/ DV on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based examination will be about 2 (Two) times of the number of vacancies. More number of candidates can be shortlisted against the vacancies of SSF. 
8.Document verification (i.e. collection of required eligibility certificates/ documents from the candidates and their verification with original documents) will be conducted by the CAPFs along with the Detailed Medical Examination.

The computer based examination
MCQ 80 Question. 
Maximum marks:160
Part-A: General intelligence and Reasoning
Part-B: General knowledge and general awareness
Part-C: Elementary mathematics
Part-D: English/ Hindi
Note:
1. Computer based examination will be conducted in English and hindi
2. Negative marks 0.50 for each wrong answer

Physical Efficiency Test( PET) 

Male: 5 kms running in 24 minutes
Female: 1.6 kms running in 8 1/2 minutes

For ladakh candidates

Male: 1.6 kms running in 6 1/2 minutes
Female: 800 meters running in 4 minutes

Physical Standard Test( PST) 

Height:
Male: 170cms
Female: 157 cms
For St candidates: male- 162 cms, female- 150 cms
Chest:
Un expanded : 80cms
Minimum expansion: 5cms
Female: will not be taken
Weight: as per medical standard
