TRB BEO Scheme of Examination 2023:
Part A: Tamil Eligibility Test
Part B: Main Subject ( Objective type)
Part A:30 Question ( 50 marks)
Minimum Eligibility marks:40℅( 20 marks)
Part B:150 Question (150 marks)
TRB BEO Tamil Eligibility test pattern:
The Tamil Language Eligibility Test is a qualifying test and it will be conducted in objective type consisting of 30 questions for 50 marks and the duration of examination will be 30 minutes as part – A. This mark will not be considered for ranking.
a. Syllabus for Tamil language eligibility examination is of class 10th standard level.
b. Minimum 40% marks in part – A examination (minimum qualifying marks) only to be eligible for the next level of evaluation of the main examination answer sheet.
c. The procedure will be followed as mentioned in the G.O.(Ms) No. 49, Human Resources (M) Department, dated 23.05.2022 for exempting the differently abled candidates from the Compulsory Tamil Language eligibility test.

TRB BEO Main Written Examination pattern:

Time Duration: 3 hours
The OMR Based Examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration with 150 Multiple Choice Questions. Each question carries one mark. The marks allotted to the Main Subject, General Knowledge and Educational Methodology will be as per G.O.(Ms.)No.33, School Education (EE 1(1) Department, Dated.19.02.2019.
b. All other main examinations will be conducted in Part – B.
c. Marks for Part-B answers only will be taken into account for ranking.
d. Medium of Question :English & Tamil
